Manitobans are doing what’s needed during this uncertain time to protect ourselves, our families, and our community from COVID-19. We’re coming together by keeping our distance! Health care workers, first responders and all essential workers are stepping up as Manitobans to practice social (physical) distancing so that we can stop the spread of COVID-19. They are doing what’s needed with great courage and personal sacrifice to keep us safe and our community working.
Let’s show them our appreciation!
Let’s SHINE A BLUE LIGHT to boost the morale and spirt of health care staff, first responders and essential workers. We can all join together while practicing social (physical) distancing by shining a blue light every night, whether it’s in our home, yard, or business.
A blue light says we care!
Together, we can show our support for health-care staff, first responders and essential workers. Shining a blue light says that we also understand that social (physical) distancing not only keeps us safe, it keeps THEM safe, too.
Make it happen!
The possibilities are endless. You can participate on your own or with your family:
- Use blue Christmas lights
- Take an existing LED light and turn it blue
- Order a blue light... local home improvements stores and online shops have lots to choose from.
