About the Workshop
- Understand the link between the brain and behaviours
- Differentiate between dementia, delirium and depression
- Reinforce the concept of person-centred care for persons with dementia
- Demonstrate techniques used to assist in reducing reactive behaviours
Who should Attend?
This workshop is for PCH Nurses, HCAs and Support staff, but other regional staff may attend.
Note to the Participants
- Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration.
- No registration fee for this session.
- Bring lunch and snacks. Water will be provided.
- Registration is limited and will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
- This is not a paid education.
- Registration closes (1) week prior to the session.
